In his book, Mr Sarwono Kusumaatmadja gives us an insight to his life from his childhood, to his youth as an activist, to when he entered politics and eventually became the Secretary General of the Golkar party in Indonesia. Throughout his political career, Mr Sarwono’s conviction in staying true to the middle course drove him to accomplish change and governance reform in public administration and the environment. This book gives us context for better understanding of leadership dispositions through Mr Sarwono’s experiences, and provides inspiration for the youths of our time.

Climate change is a phenomenon that is affecting every nation in the world. It is negatively impacting national economies and disrupting lives. Global temperatures, CO2 levels, and sea levels are rising, and weather conditions are more extreme. The effects of climate change can be felt more in some countries than others, but will eventually affect the whole human population. On our journey to sustainability, the climate emergency requires immediate attention and actions from governments, businesses, the workforce, investors and consumers. Only by addressing the climate crisis, are we able to achieve sustainable development.
